RESOLUTION NO. 10-077 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILTY STUDY ON <br />CITY PROJECT 11-1, 2011 STREET REHABILITATION. <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 8`h Street NW from Old Highway 8 to 7th <br />Street NW; 12t° Avenue NW from 8" Street NW to the end of the cul-de-sac; 11'h Avenue <br />NW from 8'h Street NW to 10th Street NW; 10"' Street NW from 11th Avenue NW to <br />Polynesian Village; 9`h Avenue NW from 8'h Street NW to 10th Street NW; and 5' Street <br />NW from Old Highway 8 to the end of the cul-de-sac and to assess the benefited property <br />for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton: <br />That the proposed improvement, called City Project I1-1, 2011 Street <br />Rehabilitation, be referred to the City Engineer for study and is instructed to report <br />to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way <br />as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; <br />whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other <br />improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a <br />description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for <br />affected parcels. <br />Adopted this of 23rd day of November, 2010. <br />ATTEST: <br />Dave Jacown, Mayor <br />diel A.
