Resolution No. 10-073 <br />City of New Brighton <br />County of Ramsey <br />State of Minnesota <br />Council Member Burg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Resolution Providing for the Sale of $2,250,000 Taxable General Obligation Tax <br />Increment Refunding Bonds, Series 2010B <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota, has heretofore <br />;rmined that it is necessary and expedient to issue the City's $2,250,000 Taxable General <br />igation Tax Increment Refunding Bonds, Series 2010B (the "Bonds"), to refinance a <br />tion of the Taxable G.O. Tax Increment Bonds, Series 2001 C, for interest savings; <br />WHEREAS, the City has retained Ehlers & Associates, Inc., in Roseville, Minnesota <br />filers"), as its independent financial advisor for the Bonds and is therefore authorized to <br />cit proposals in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.60, Subdivision 2(9); <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br />Authorization; Findings. The City Council hereby authorizes Ehlers to solicit proposals <br />the sale of the Bonds. <br />Meetin ; Proposal Opening. The City Council shall meet at 6:30 P.M. on January 11, <br />1, for the purpose of considering sealed proposals for and awarding the sale of the Bonds. <br />Official Statement. In connection with said sale, the officers or employees of the City are <br />-by authorized to cooperate with Ehlers and participate in the preparation of an official <br />ement for the Bonds and to execute and deliver it on behalf of the City upon its <br />motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />nber Phillips and, after full discussion thereof and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />)wing Council Members voted in favor thereof: <br />,or Jacobsen, Councilmembers Bauman, Burg, Phillips and Samuelson <br />the following voted against the same: None <br />
