RESOLUTION NO 10-074 <br />City of New Brighton <br />County of Ramsey <br />State of Minnesota <br />Resolution Providing for the Sale of $2,170,000 General Obligation Bonds, Series <br />2010C <br />Member Phillips introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota, has heretofore <br />,rmined that it is necessary and expedient to issue the City's $2,170,000 General Obligation <br />ids, Series 2010C (the "Bonds"), to fund street reconstruction in the City and to refinance <br />G.O. Tax Increment Bonds, Series 2001B and the G.O. Improvement and Water Revenue <br />ids, Series 2003A, for interest savings; <br />% I WHEREAS, the City has retained Ehlers & Associates, Inc., in Roseville, Minnesota <br />(" hlers"), as its independent financial advisor for the Bonds and is therefore authorized to <br />skit proposals in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.60, Subdivision 2(9); <br />, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br />1. Authorization; Findings. The City Council hereby authorizes Ehlers to solicit proposals <br />Mil the sale of the Bonds. <br />Meeting; Proposal Opening. The City Council shall meet at 6:30 P.M. on January 11, <br />1, for the purpose of considering sealed proposals for and awarding the sale of the Bonds. <br />Official Statement. In connection with said sale, the officers or employees of the City are <br />y authorized to cooperate with Ehlers and participate in the preparation of an official <br />vent for the Bonds and to execute and deliver it on behalf of the City upon its completion, <br />motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />fiber Samuelson and, after full discussion thereof and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />wing Council Members voted in favor thereof: <br />tor Jacobsen, Councilmembers Bauman, Burg, Phillips and Samuelson <br />the following voted against the same: None <br />
