Manager Lotterreported that could be addressed aspartofthe City's fee <br />register. <br />Motion by Councilmember Bauman, seconded by Councibnember Burg to approve the mitigation <br />plan for multiple dwelling license for the property at Silver Lake Flats located at 2190-2160 W <br />County Rd E with the provision that information will be provided from the owner regarding rental <br />unit occupancy on a monthly basis. <br />City Attorney LeFevere suggested if the condition is not satisfactory to the applicant, staff will give notice of a <br />hearing for non renewal ofthe license based on the fact that the mitigation plan is not satisfactory. <br />5 Ayes, 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />2. Recycling Proposals and Staff Recommendation. 10-238. <br />City Manager Lotter introduced the item, stating this had been discussed at the earlier worksession. <br />Code Fnforcemerrt Officer Joe Hatch reported we are in the final year ofatwo year contract with Waste <br />Management at a rate of $1.89/morithper resident Staff was directed to obtain an RFP for single sort <br />recycling; two were received Staff recommendation was to contract with Allied Waste (option 1) due to the <br />low cost, $2.49/morah per household for three years. <br />Motion by Councilmember Burg, seconded by Councilmember Phillips to approve the resolution <br />authorizing the City Manager and Mayor to execute a contract with Allied Waste Systems for single <br />stream recycling to begin in 2011 reflective of the proposal, option number 1. <br />1 5 Ayes, 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br />2.
