November 9 , 2010 <br />Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements and Updates <br />'Dean Lotter <br />City Manager Lotter reported meetings have began with Library Staff to review general <br />concepts for build out. Mr. Lotter is hopeful to have an RFP and lease contract in January 2011. <br />The Property Manager for the County anticiaptes a late summer / early fall 2011 opening. <br />Gina Bauman <br />Councilmember Bauman reported the EDC next meets November 16th. <br />David Phillips <br />Councilmember Phillips reported the Planning Commission next meets November 16, 2010. <br />The commission will be reviewing and updating the Zoning Code ordinances. It was reported <br />City Hall has sold many garage door monitors, and reminded residents they are available for a <br />very good price. <br />Mayor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen reported he is looking forward to a Peacemaker Organization event on <br />December 2"a <br />Mary Bure <br />Councilmember Burg reported the PREC commission discussed goose management strategies. <br />The PREC commission will continue the discussion at their December meeting. 18,000-20,000 <br />'geese currently are in he metro area, it was reported we could have over <br />500,000 if left unmanaged. <br />Char Samuelson <br />Councilmember Samuelsson thanked all who participated in the recent blood drive. The Public <br />Safety Commission will next meet December I", at 6:30 pm.
