Lotter, City Manager <br /> CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br /> No comments to supplement this report Comments attached <br /> Recommendation: <br /> At the beginning of each calendar year, the City Council makes appointments to various public <br /> agencies. These appointments pertain to appointing a delegate and an alternate to represent the <br /> City at the regular and special meetings of the specific public agencies. City staff is seeking <br /> direction from the City Council regarding which members of the City Council should be <br /> appointed to the various public agencies. <br /> Legislative History: <br /> In 2010, the following Councilmember's were appointed as the delegate or alternate to the following <br /> public agencies: <br /> > League of Minnesota Cities Delegate: Dave Jacobsen Alternate: David Phillips <br /> ➢ Metro Cities Delegate: Dave Jacobsen Alternate: Char Samuelson <br /> ➢ Northwest Youth and Family Services: Delegate: Bob Jacobson <br /> > North Suburban Cable Commission: Delegate: Mary Burg Alternate: Gina Bauman <br /> > North Metro Mayors Association: Delegate Dave Jacobsen-Removed in 2011 <br /> Financial Impact: <br /> None <br /> Explanation: <br /> The City Council makes appointments annually to the League of Minnesota Cities, Metro Cities, <br /> Northwest Youth and Family Services, North Suburban Cable Commission public agencies. <br /> These appointments pertain to appointing a delegate and an alternate to represent the City at the <br /> regular and special meetings of these specific agencies.
