RESOLUTION NO. <br />10-081 <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 2011 HEALTH INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS AND <br />OTHER BENEFITS FOR NON-UNION PERSONNEL <br />kS, it is proposed that the City will continue to make a contribution towards the cost of <br />health insurance; and <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />The City's contribution for single health coverage will be $590.00 per month, $705.00 per month <br />for single+l, and $820.00 per month for family coverage. Employees electing to opt -out of <br />health insurance coverage through the City of New Brighton are required to provide proof of <br />insurability elsewhere, will be provided $310.00 per month which may be used for other benefits <br />associated with the cafeteria plan or taken as a taxable benefit. The City will also contribute 50% <br />of the deductible for employees enrolled in the Health Savings Account (HSA), as well as the <br />start-up and monthly fees associated with the Health Savings Account. <br />The City shall provide either an individual or family membership at the Family Service Center for <br />interested full-time and regular part-time employees, fire department personnel, and City Council <br />members, subject to the employee being responsible for any income tax liability or other issues <br />associated with membership. <br />The City Manager shall be authorized to make various expenditures relating to employee <br />recognition programs that are deemed to serve a public purpose for the benefit of the City. <br />by the City Council this 14th day of December 2010. <br />and Support Services <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />ave iag6bsen, Mayor <br />
