RESOLUTION NO. 11-004 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING AND ACCEPTING CHANGE FOR THE BETTER <br />DONATIONS RECEIVED IN 2010 <br />WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton invites and accepts donations to assist in programs and <br />initiatives; and <br />EAS, one method by which citizens can make donations to the City is the "Change for the <br />program; and <br />HEREAS, participants in the "Change for the Better" program authorize the City to round the <br />count of their quarterly utility bill up to the nearest dollar or ten dollars, or add a fixed amount <br />their bill; and <br />the contributions received from this program in 2010 are designated for <br />s and enhancements to City parks; and <br />, it is the City Council's desire to acknowledge and express appreciation to all <br />for their donations; <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton to <br />approve the resolution acknowledging and accepting donations received in 2010 as <br />$1,299.59 from the participants in the "Change for the Better" program; and <br />Designate these contributions for use in improvements and enhancements to City parks. <br />this 11th day of January, 2011 <br />TEST: c <br />,Uaie?s, Director <br />e and Support <br />City Clerk <br />'0�� <br />Dave J06bsen, Mayor <br />
