Over the last 12 years, the annual rate of increase for this replacement vehicle was <br /> 2.39 percent. <br /> Explanation: The purpose of this item is to obtain Council authorization for the purchase of a <br /> 2011 4x4 Ford F550 for the Public Works Department. This is a mid-sized dump truck that is <br /> used for plowing alleys, street repair, and patching. It is designed for hauling heavy loads, and <br /> pushing large amounts of snow. In the wintertime it is assigned a snow plow route which <br /> includes alleys, parking lots, cul-de-sacs, and lift stations.
