January 11, 2011 <br />Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements and Updates <br />Dean Lotter <br />City Manager Lotter reported he will be meeting with the Teamsters to negotiate an agreement <br />'for 2011. Talks have begun with the US Army regarding the L2SAGIA agreement; the legal <br />agreement regarding the remediation relationship regarding New Brighton's drinking water. <br />Eleven proposals were received for the library project, interviews are scheduled for January 14th <br />Gina Bauman <br />Nothing to report. <br />David Phillips <br />Councilmember Phillips reported the Planning Commission will meet January 18`s, the Zoning <br />Code will continue to be reviewed. Appreciation was expressed to City Staff for the recent <br />change to Single Sort Recycling. <br />Mayor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen reported he will be meeting with the Superintendent of District 621 to discuss <br />ways to engage the community. <br />Mary Bum <br />Nothing to report. <br />Char Samuelson <br />Councilmember Samuelson reported she attended the Fitness Fair at the Family Service Center, <br />'and congratulated the Staff for a great event. The Public Safety Commission will meet January <br />26`s, the viscous dog ordinance will continue to be discussed.
