Resolution No. <br /> State of Minnesota <br /> County of Ramsey <br /> City of New Brighton <br /> Resolution to Amend the 2011 General Fund Budget for the Forestry Department <br /> Whereas, the Forestry Department had work ordered last year through their tree contractors <br /> which was unable to be completed due to early and heavy snow falls, and <br /> Whereas, the work still needs to be done, however the 2010 budget appropriations for this work <br /> expired as of December 31, 2010, and <br /> Whereas, the 2011 Budget does not include appropriations to finish the incomplete work ordered <br /> in 2010, and <br /> Whereas, the General Fund ended 2010 with a favorable variance of$168,485, and <br /> Whereas, it is desirable to carryover $10,000 of the unused 2010 budget appropriations for use in <br /> 2011 to complete the work. <br /> Now Therefore Be It Resolved that the 2011 General Fund Budget be amended as follows: <br /> Increase: Forestry—Professional services $10,000 <br /> (account number 101-44142-3300) <br /> Increase: Use of fund balance $10,000 <br /> (account number 101-31000-7860) <br /> Adopted this 24th day of May, 2011. <br /> Dave Jacobsen, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: Dean Lotter, City Manager <br /> Daniel A.
