PLANNING REPORT <br /> DATE: February 9,2011 <br /> CASE: PL2011-001 <br /> SUBJECT: Preliminary Plat of NORTHWEST QUADRANT EAST <br /> APPLICANT: City of New Brighton <br /> REQUEST&BACKGROUND <br /> City staff is requesting Preliminary Plat approval, to be known as NORTHWEST QUADRANT <br /> EAST, which would allow assembly of existing parcels within the Northwest Quadrant <br /> Redevelopment Area. The area specifically included in the preliminary plat is all the land on the <br /> east side of Old Highway 8 NW, north of I-694, west of I-35W, and south of 14th Street NW. <br /> The land would be assembled into four separate outlots and approximately 5.6 acres would be <br /> dedicated for roadway purposes. <br /> The Planning Commission is being asked to consider the preliminary plat at this time in an effort <br /> to clear title and assemble land in preparation for future development.
