RESOLUTION NO. <br />11-082 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED, ORDERING PREPARATION OF <br />PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS, AND SETTING DATE FOR ASSESSMENT HEARING ON <br />PROJECT 10-3, SILVER LANE RECONSTRUCTION <br />WHEREAS, Public Improvement Project 10-3, Silver Lane Reconstruction, was ordered by the City <br />Council of the City of New Brighton at a Public Improvement Hearing, noticed, and held as required by law; <br />that: <br />WHEREAS, the total final project cost is $687,626.90. <br />WHEREAS, said improvement project is now completed so that the cost thereof can be special assessed. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota <br />The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $33,234.74. <br />2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper <br />amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, place, or parcel <br />of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law and shall <br />file a copy of such proposed assessments in his office for public inspection. <br />3. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. <br />4. That a public hearing on the proposed assessment be set for September 27, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. in <br />the City of New Brighton City Council Chambers at 803 Old Highway 8 NW, New Brighton, <br />Minnesota. <br />5. The mailed notices of this hearing be sent to each benefited property owner as required by law. <br />Adopted -this 23rd day of August, 2011. <br />1TT <br />Daniel A.
