Public Safety Director Bob Jacobson stated that the services being provided by Ramsey <br /> County for dispatch services has improved and that the Public Safety Department does <br /> not have any concerns at this time. <br /> Councilmember Bauman stated that she would like to know what is our end goal <br /> pertaining to the Fleet/Non-fleet? When will the fleet/non-fleet programs be fully <br /> funded? She said that she had a number of items in the budget she would like to have the <br /> City Manager review. She will e-mail her follow-up questions to City Manager Lotter. <br /> City Manager Lotter stated that Staff is using a more comprehensive analysis to measure <br /> the Fleet/Non-fleet program. <br /> Mayor Jacobsen stated that the City has a plan but the numbers are not in concrete due to <br /> the economy, prices and other variables. Perhaps Council can look at reducing the tax <br /> rate. He stated that the fleet/non-fleet plan is a good plan because it has the flexibility to <br /> allow for future changes. <br /> Council Member Phillips stated that he likes the proposed utilization of the$280,400 <br /> because the City does not have to borrow money for short term capital purchases. <br /> Council Member Samuelson complimented Staff for the work that they did in how <br /> putting the 2012 Budget. <br /> Council Member Burg also complimented staff for putting together the annual budget. <br /> 5:45 PM-Closed Session to discuss potential litigation with Clearwire <br /> City Attorney Charlie LeFevere announced that the City Council will be going into a <br /> closed session pursuant to Minnesota Statute 13D to discuss potential litigation. <br /> Meeting Adjourned at 6:30 PM. <br />
