RESOLUTION NO. 11-090 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECT 10-3, SILVER LANE <br />RECONSTRUCTION <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br />WH AS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met and heard and passed <br />the drovosed assessment of the benefited lots in the area. <br />BY: "The construction of storm sewer, watermain improvements, sanitary sewer improvements, and street <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br />2. The total amount to be assessed is $33,234.74. <br />i <br />3. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Special Assessment Number 63103000 is hereby accepted and <br />shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein <br />included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against <br />it. <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of ten (10) years, the <br />first installment to be payable on or after the first Monday in January 2012 and shall bear interest at the rate <br />of 4.00 percent per annum from the adoption of this assessment resolution. <br />6. I The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the <br />I County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of <br />(payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid <br />I within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay the County <br />Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordance with the <br />statutes such in case made and provided. <br />7. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Auditor to be <br />extended on the property tax list of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over the <br />same manner as other municipal taxes. <br />this 27th day of September, 2011. <br />ATTEST: <br />of Financeimd-Support Services <br />-�- (SEAL) <br />
