RESOLUTION No. <br />11-099 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />PESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF 745 SQUARE FEET OF W ST NW RIGHT- <br />pF-WAY LYING ALONG THE NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF THE NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANGE <br />4EDEVELOPMENT AREA. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to published notice, held a public hearing on <br />October 25, 2011 to consider the vacation. All persons present at the hearing were given <br />opportunity to be heard; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton, current owner of the property, requests the <br />ation in order to clear title in preparation for the recording of the final plat of NEW <br />[GHTON EXCHANGE 1"ADDITION, and <br />WHEREAS, the existing roadway of 14`h ST NW will not be altered and the <br />ropriate amount of right-of-way will be dedicated with the final plat of NEW <br />[GHTON EXCHANGE 1sT ADDITION, and <br />Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council makes the following Findings <br />'Fact in respect to the proposed vacation for VA2011-001: <br />The subject area is zoned NWQ, Northwest Quadrant. <br />The City of New Brighton has determined that 745 square feet of existing 14th ST <br />NW right-of-way is not necessary for roadway purposes. <br />The existing traveled roadway of 14th ST NW will not be altered and an <br />appropriate amount of right-of-way will be dedicated on the plat of NEW <br />BRIGHTON EXCHANGE 1sT ADDITION. <br />A public hearing was held on October 25, 2011, and all present were given a <br />chance to be heard. <br />The legal description of the right-of-way to be vacated is as follows: <br />That part of 14th Street Northwest lying within the Northeast Quarter of the <br />Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota, which lies southerly and southwesterly of the following described <br />line: <br />Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of Section <br />20; thence on an assumed bearing of South 00 degrees 29 minutes 05 <br />seconds East, along the east line of said Southeast Quarter, a distance of <br />
