RESOLUTION No. 11-099 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON PESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF 745 SQUARE FEET OF W ST NW RIGHT- pF-WAY LYING ALONG THE NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF THE NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANGE 4EDEVELOPMENT AREA. WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to published notice, held a public hearing on October 25, 2011 to consider the vacation. All persons present at the hearing were given opportunity to be heard; and WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton, current owner of the property, requests the ation in order to clear title in preparation for the recording of the final plat of NEW [GHTON EXCHANGE 1"ADDITION, and WHEREAS, the existing roadway of 14`h ST NW will not be altered and the ropriate amount of right-of-way will be dedicated with the final plat of NEW [GHTON EXCHANGE 1sT ADDITION, and Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council makes the following Findings 'Fact in respect to the proposed vacation for VA2011-001: The subject area is zoned NWQ, Northwest Quadrant. The City of New Brighton has determined that 745 square feet of existing 14th ST NW right-of-way is not necessary for roadway purposes. The existing traveled roadway of 14th ST NW will not be altered and an appropriate amount of right-of-way will be dedicated on the plat of NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANGE 1sT ADDITION. A public hearing was held on October 25, 2011, and all present were given a chance to be heard. The legal description of the right-of-way to be vacated is as follows: That part of 14th Street Northwest lying within the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 30, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, which lies southerly and southwesterly of the following described line: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of Section 20; thence on an assumed bearing of South 00 degrees 29 minutes 05 seconds East, along the east line of said Southeast Quarter, a distance of
