Lotter, City Manager <br /> CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br /> No comments to supplement this report Comments attached <br /> The City Council has reviewed this sectio e city code at previous worksessions and retreats <br /> with discussions focusing on whether th ,re ould be any changes to term limits or absenteeism <br /> language. Councilmembers Jacobsen an urg have requested that this item be placed on the <br /> business agenda for the March 13th meeting so that a determination can be reached on any <br /> possible changes. <br /> Recommendation: Council should provide staff with direction on any desired changes to the <br /> city code. <br /> Legislative History: <br /> The City Council made changes to the City Code in July of 2009 and February of 2010 imposing <br /> term limits on City Commissions. Additionally, Council updated language in the City Code <br /> regarding absences of Commission members in July of 2009 and March of 2011. <br /> Financial Impact: <br /> None <br /> Dean R.
