<br />""",,"",:"It-"" <br /> <br />"--. <br /> <br />0,,' <br /> <br />....' <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.OO- 091 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOtUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECT 99-1, HIGHCREST AREA <br />STREET RECONSTRUCTION. <br /> <br />BE IT ltESOL VED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met <br />and heard and passed the proposed assessment of the benefitted lots in the Highcrest Area. <br /> <br />BY: T.h~ construction of storm sewer, watermain improvements, sanitary sewer improvements, <br />and st~et reconstruction. <br /> <br />NOW 1;'HEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The total amount to be assessed is $193,295.76. <br /> <br />2. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Special Assessment Number 6399l 000 is <br />hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the <br />~mprovement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of <br />ten (10) years, the first installment to be payable on or after the first Monday in January <br />2001 and shall bear interest at the rate of 6.5 percent per annum from the adoption of this <br />assessment resolution. <br /> <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />assessment to the County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such property with <br />.nterest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall <br />be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this <br />resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay the County Treasurer, the balance of <br />lassessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordance with the statutes such <br />iin case made and provided. <br /> <br />5.
