<br />':.,. .). <br /> <br />4L <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 00-088 <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVAL OF PRDOO-2. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for an amendment to an existing planned residential development by <br />Silver Crest Properties to construct an 11.9 x 22 foot kitchen addition to the existing Brightondale <br />Senior Housing facility located at 2700 Rice Creek Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br />1. An application for a special use permit was filed with the City of New Brighton on <br />September I, 2000. <br />2. The Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing <br />on September 19, 2000, and all persons present at the hearing were given an opportunity to <br />be heard. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the request <br />subject to conditions. <br />3. The City Council considered the proposal at its September 19,2000 meeting; and <br /> <br />Now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in <br />respect to PRDOO-2: <br /> <br />1. The subject site is zoned R-2, Two Family Residential. <br />2. The applicant is proposing to construct an 11.9 x 22 foot Kitchen addition. <br />3. All applicable setback requirements shall are met. <br />4. The proposed addition will be constructed of the same building materials as the existing <br />building. <br />5. No additional units are proposed. The density of the site will remain the same, therefore, no <br />additional parking is required. <br />6. There are no plans for altering the existing grade ofthe site. The addition will be <br />constructed over a portion of an existing patio area. <br />7. The proposed addition adds space to the existing kitchen to better serve the needs of the <br />staff in preparing meals three times a day, 7 days a week for 90 residents. <br />8. Evening meals for Meadow Wood Shores Independent Senior apartments will also be <br />prepared in this area. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that based upon the above findings of fact the application PRDOO-2 is <br />hereby approved subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. The applicant shall submit a plan showing how equipment shall be transported to the <br />construction site. Said plan shall demonstrate that no damage will occur to any existing <br />trees along the western property line. <br />2. Building materials for the proposed addition shall match the existing building. <br />3.
