Call to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Frischman. <br /> II. Roll Call <br /> Members Present: <br /> Commissioners Fields, Frischman, Kunesh-Podein, Lundberg (arrived 6:34 p.m.), <br /> Nguyen, Parker(arrived 6:34 p.m.), Trevorrow, Weber, Council Liaison Paul <br /> Jacobsen <br /> Also Present: Sandy Breuer, Director of Parks and Recreation; Chris Wolla, Parks <br /> Superintendent and Pat Tuma, Recreation Supervisor <br /> III. Minutes of January 4, 2012 <br /> MOTION BY JERED WEBER, SECONDED BY MARY KUNESH-PODEIN, TO <br /> APPROVE THE JANUARY 4, 2012 MINUTES AS SUBMITTED. MOTION <br /> CARRIED. <br /> IV. Staff Reports —Re-introduction <br /> A. Pat Tuma, Recreation Supervisor <br /> Pat gave a presentation which consisted of the following: <br /> • Program Accomplishments <br /> • Adult Sports <br /> • Adaptive Rec. <br /> • Ed-Venture Summer Daycare <br /> • Youth Programs <br /> • Registration Online <br /> • Class Software <br /> Breuer stated there will be about 5 more staff presentations in the next year. <br /> V. Correspondence <br /> None <br /> VI. Old Business <br /> A. Vermont Park <br /> Council chose to follow PREC's recommendation to demolish Vermont <br /> shelter and not replace it. The price came in under$10,000. Water and <br /> sewer will be capped and will be available if we want to use it for <br /> irrigation. The slab will be taken out. The slab was an awkward shape and <br /> probably would not be able to be used again. <br /> B. Silver Oaks <br /> Breuer commented that Council decided not to relocate the basketball <br />
