Oaks, goose management and Emerald Ash <br /> Borer(EAB). Breuer has not been able to get the Trails information before <br /> the Council, because of their busy calendar. EAB, goose management, the <br /> Vermont shelter and Silver Oaks went to Council. The Council may have <br /> space in April to look at the trails item. <br /> Breuer stated that the Public Works Department put information together <br /> for PREC to review on the Pavement Management Plan. Breuer distributed <br /> it to the commissioners and asked that they come back to the April meeting <br /> ready to discuss the items. <br /> IX. Announcements <br /> A. Council Report—Council Member Jacobsen <br /> Council Member Paul Jacobsen, thanked CTV and was glad to be back <br /> on the air. He, also, thanked Tom Trevorrow for his years of service. <br /> Jacobsen mentioned that items that came before Council were: <br /> Vermont shelter, Silver Oaks, goose management and EAB. <br /> There were 4 neighborhood park meetings on the status of the City. <br /> Freedom Park residents had some wildlife issues. <br /> There are a lot of things that the Council is looking at right now and <br /> trying to schedule work sessions to take care of them. One of the things <br /> Council will be discussing is term limits. He has been out looking at <br /> parks, trails, trees. Also, the Driftwood/Forestdale water tower will be <br /> painted. <br /> B. Chair Updates <br /> None <br /> C. Commission Reports on Parks <br /> Driftwood- Lundberg mentioned a teepee by the pond. <br /> Hansen—Lundberg mentioned we are starting to get water around the <br /> trail. A lot of dog droppings. <br /> Freedom - Nguyen mentioned the drain is plugged. <br /> Veterans—Weber commented that the flags are flying great. <br /> Innsbruck—Trevorrow mentioned a lot of puddles. <br /> Freedom— Trevorrow said the rink was doing well. <br /> Hidden Oaks—Fields said everything seems to be looking good. <br /> Hansen—Fields said a light pole by horseshoe pit has some wires <br /> hanging out. Wolla commented we have had issues at Hansen with <br /> people trying to pull the wire out of the poles; that particular pole the <br /> light comes on by a switch. The other lights are photocell. Fields said at <br /> Hansen by the dam, there are a lot of down trees. Wolla said we usually <br /> do not remove downed trees unless they are a danger. There is a coyote <br /> in Hansen Park. <br /> Silver Oaks—Kunesh-Podein—Good sledding hill with the last snow. <br /> Vermont—Parker—upcoming demolition. <br /> 3 <br />
