Section 2. Section 4-108 is amended as follows: <br /> Sec. 4-108. Persons ineligible. <br /> No license required by the provisions of this division shall be granted to or held by any <br /> person: <br /> (a) Under nineteen (19) years of age; <br /> (b) Who is not of good moral character; <br /> (c) Who, of an individual, is an alien; <br /> (d) Who has been convicted within fifteen (15) years prior to the application for such <br /> license, of any willful violation of any law of the United States, this state, or any <br /> other state or territory, or of any local ordinance regarding the manufacture, sale, <br /> distribution or possession for sale or distribution of intoxicating liquor, or whose <br /> liquor license has been revoked for any willful violation of any law or ordinance. <br /> (e) Who is a manufacturer or wholesaler of intoxicating liquor and no manufacturer or <br /> • (fe) Who is directly or indirectly interested in any other establishment in the city to <br /> which an "on-sale"license has been issued under this chapter. <br /> (gf) Who, if a corporation, does not have a manager who is eligible pursuant to the <br /> provisions of this section. <br /> (fig) Who is the spouse of a person ineligible for a license pursuant to the provisions of <br /> subsections (d);-(e)or(fe) of this section or who,in the judgment of the city council, <br /> is not the real party in interest or beneficial owner of the business operated, or to be <br /> operated,under the license. <br /> (Oh) An "off-sale" license will not be renewed if, in the case of an individual, the <br /> licensee is not a resident of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area at the time of the date <br /> for renewal; if, in the case of a partnership, the managing partner is not a resident of <br /> the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area at the time of the renewal; or in the case of a <br /> corporation, if the manager is not a resident of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area at <br /> the time of the date of renewal. The "Twin Cities Metropolitan Area" is defined as <br /> being comprised of the counties of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, <br /> Scott and Washington. <br /> (i) No person shall own an interest in more than one establishment or business within <br /> the city for which an "on-sale"license has been granted.
