COMMUNITY PARTNERS <br /> NEW BRIGHTON BUSINESS BASE <br /> B <br /> Job Openings <br /> Thirty-four percent of New Brighton respondents indicate that they have entry level job <br /> openings at least three times a year. The highest concentration(55 percent)is in the retail sector <br /> (55 percent). Professional services firms(20 percent),construction firms(26 percent),and FIRE <br /> firms(25 percent)are the least likely to have frequent entry openings. The balance of sectors <br /> are about average in their entry level opportunities. <br /> Employee Demand <br /> One-hundred and thirty-six New Brighton companies anticipate adding staff over the coming <br /> two years. This is about 30 percent of all respondents. The greatest anticipated demand is for <br /> sales, skilled and clerical positions.
