It states that, "We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders
to act now to add signage that will control speed to the corner of 4th Street NW & 12th Avenue
NW at the entrance to the east Hansen Park parking lot". The petition, which contains two
pages of signatures, indicates that the east parking lot of Hansen Park is very busy during the
warm months with softball leagues and Frisbee golf players. The speed of traffic has become a
concern in recent years due to the number of families with small children who have recently
moved into the area. It oes on to mention that currently, there are 14 children, elementary age
or younger, living on 12th Avenue NW between 4th Street NW and 5th Street NW.
Costs and Funding:
('
N/A
Grant M. yffels, P.E.
Director o Public Works
Attachments (Map and Petition)
