<br />"_ l, <br /> <br />... <br />" <br /> <br />t- <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />, <br />, . <br />" <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 00-066 <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF COUNTY <br />ROAD E2 EXTENSION RJGHT-OF-WAY, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to published notice, held a public hearing on July 11, 2000 <br />to consider the vacation. All persons present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard; and <br /> <br />Now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in <br />respect to the proposed vacation: <br /> <br /> 1. <br /> 2. <br /> 3. <br />i I 4. <br />,i <br /> <br />The street right-of-way to be vacated is not improved, and no longer serves a public <br />purpose, as this area is now an entrance into Main Street Village. <br />There are no public utilities located within this right-of-way area. <br />The applicant is providing a street dedication of right-of-way to provide a future road <br />connection of County Road E2 west to Old Highway 8 NW. <br />All adjacent property owners have been notified of the requested vacation; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following described alley is and hereby vacated: <br /> <br />That part of County Road E2 Extension as shown on the plat of Brighton Corporate Park III, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota lying northerly of the following described line: <br />Beginning at the Southeast comer of Outlot A, Brighton Corporate Park IlI; thence North 89 <br />degrees, 58 minutes, 54 seconds West (bearing based on the plat of Brighton Corporate Park <br />lJI), along the South line of said Outlot A and its westerly extension, a distance of 507.58 <br />feet to the West line of said Outlot A and there tenninating. <br /> <br />Adopted this 11th day of July, 2000 <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Steve Larson, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />: ATTEST: <br /> <br />. , <br /> <br /> <br />Margaret A Egan, City ClerklFinance Director <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />I:\SHAREDICOUNC ILIResolutions\2000\cd\e2vaClllion. wpd <br />
