RESOLUTION NO. <br />12-059 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR PROJECT 12-3,2012 PAVEMENT <br />MANAGEMENT PROGRAM & PROJECT 12-8, NEW BRIGHTON EXCHANGE — <br />STREET & TRAIL PAVING <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement in the New Brighton Bulletin and online at <br />http://www.OuestCDN.com, bids for the above mentioned improvements were received, <br />opened, and read aloud by the City Administration at 10:30 a.m., July 17, 2012 complying <br />with the advertisement; and <br />WHEREAS, the lowest bidder meeting bid specifications was found to be Peterson <br />Companies, Inc. with a total bid of $412,886.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE rr RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton: <br />1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Peterson Companies in the name of the City of New Brighton for City <br />Project 12-3, 2012 Pavement Management Program and City Project 12-8, New <br />Brighton Exchange— Street & Trail Paving. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bid except that the deposits of the successful low bidder and the <br />next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted this 24th day of July, 2012. <br />ATTEST: j <br />Daniel A.
