-hensive Plan and recommended the City Council authorize submission of these <br />nents to the Metropolitan Council, subject to the following conditions: <br />1) The proposed comprehensive plan amendments are released to adjacent <br />communities and affected school districts for the statutorily required 60 day <br />review period, and <br />2) The proposed amendments are accepted by the Metropolitan Council. <br />WHEREAS, on August 28, 2012 the City Council of the City of New Brighton <br />-wed the proposed amendments to the 2030 New Brighton Comprehensive Plan and <br />Firmed the Planning Commission recommendation to approve the amendments <br />ect to the two conditions noted in the preceding paragraph. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of <br />i Brighton authorizes these amendments to be released for the statutorily required 60 <br />review period by adjacent communities and affected school districts, and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, following completion of the 60 day review <br />iod by adjacent communities and affected school districts, the amendments shall be <br />mitted to the Metropolitan Council for approval and the final approval date of the <br />posed amendments to the 2030 New Brighton Comprehensive Plan shall be the date <br />Metropolitan Council approves the amendments, and <br />BE IT EVEN FURTHER RESOLVED, should substantive comments be <br />ved through the 60 day review period by adjacent communities and affected school <br />icts, those comments shall be reviewed by the Planning Commission and City <br />icil in advance of submittal of the proposed amendments to the Metropolitan <br />this 28th day of August, 2012. <br />Al"I EST: <br />Viel A.
