Director Fernelius reported that the City has been taping a couple of interviews to use in a marketing
video. Chairperson Zisla suggested bringing a laptop to the next EDC meeting to give the commission
an opportunity to view the video.
Commissioner Knight questioned if Council has a set of criteria they use to evaluate potential
development. Councilmember Burg responded that the council is diligent in evaluating requests, to
determine if they fit into the City's financial goals.
Chairperson Zisla questioned what items may be coming before the commission in the future; and
suggested avoiding purely informational meetings.
Commissioner Zelm suggested continuing to meet during the Pulte discussions. Director Fernelius stated
he would suggest seeing what Pulte will have available October 31st; likely a term sheet; which would
be beneficial for the EDC to review.
Commissioner Murlowski questioned the proposed construction timeline. Director Fernelius stated that
Pulte would like to have a model available by the 2013 Fall Parade of Homes.
Other Topics
Chairperson Zisla noted that the commission may not meet in September if there are not agenda items.
Adjournment
Motion by Chairperson Zisla, seconded by Commissioner Knight to adjourn.
Approved 6-0
Meeting adjourned at 8:40 a.m.
