Division 4-Planning Commission <br /> Sec. 2-120. Established. <br /> A Planning Commission shall be established for the City. (Ord.No. 610, 12-13-94; Code of 2001) <br /> Sec. 2-121.Purpose. <br /> The purpose of this Commission shall be to advise the City Council on all land use planning matters. <br /> (Ord. No. 610, 12-13-94; Code of 2001) <br /> Sec. 2-122. Members of the Commission. <br /> (1)The Planning Commission shall be composed of seven persons. <br /> (2)Members will be appointed for a term of three years. <br /> (3)All Planning Commission members shall be selected by the City Council. <br /> (4)The City Council may require the drafting of minimum standards which must be met for a person to <br /> be eligible to serve as a member of the Planning Commission. <br /> (5)An appointee shall hold office until a successor is appointed and qualified. (Ord. No. 610, 12-13-94; <br /> Code of 2001) <br /> Sec. 2-123. Chairperson. <br /> During the annual organization meeting,the City Council shall appoint a member of the Planning <br /> Commission to serve as the chairperson giving consideration to the criteria of Section 2-64.
