<br />1. <br /> <br />;.. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-039 <br /> <br />State of Minnesota <br />County of Ramsey <br />City of New Brighton <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 2000 CUSTOMER CHARGES FOR THE UTILITIES <br /> <br />Whereas, the City operates Water, Sewer, and Stormwater Utilities; <br />Whereas, in establishing the customer fees it is also preferred that these fees be reviewed periodically; <br />Whereas, the review for 2000 operations has been completed; <br /> <br />Now, therefore be it resolved that: <br /> <br />1. The consumption and system charges shall be: <br /> <br />Water Capital <br />Sewer Capital <br />Sewer Consumption <br />Water Usage <br />Stormwater: <br />Single family residence <br />Park, cemetery, golf course <br />School <br />Townhouse & model home park <br />Church <br />Apar1ment, condominium, senior <br />housing & nursing home <br />Commercial, industrial, & <br />warehouse <br />Unimproved, vacant land <br /> <br />$ .26 per 1,000 gallons <br />$ .25 per 1,000 gallons <br />$ 2.10 per 1,000 gallons <br />$ .81 per 1,000 gallons <br /> <br />$ 4.00 per quarter <br />$ 1.10 per acre per quarter <br />$12.00 per acre per quarter <br />$16.32 per acre per quarter <br />$22.37 per acre per quarter <br /> <br />$26.65 per acre per quarter <br /> <br />$49.95 per acre per quarter <br />$ 0.00 per acre per quarter <br /> <br />2. The minimum quarterly system fee shall be $4.94 for water and $4.75 for sewer. <br /> <br />3. Winter quarter water usage shall detemrine the consumption fees for sewer and the capital system fees for <br />both water and sewer. <br /> <br />4. The winter quarter shall be defmed as the water used during: <br /> <br />District #1 - November, 1999 through January, 2000 <br />District #2 - December, 1999 through February, 2000 <br />District #3. January, 1999 through March, 2000 <br /> <br />5. If a residential customer's water service is not metered by the City, the winter quarter fees shall be based on <br />consumptio~ of20,000 gallons per quarter. For all other accounts, the fees shall be set at the average for similar <br />occupancy. <br /> <br />6. lfno usage data is provided, the winter quarter fees shall be based on the actual readings available. <br /> <br />7. For a new residential account which did not exist at the time of the winter quarter, or in the case ofa change <br />in ownership for a home which occurs after the winter quarter, the capital system fees and sewer consumption <br />charges shall be set at a minimum of2o,000 gallons per quarter. For all other new accounts, the fees shall be set <br />at the average for similar occupancy. <br />
