She reported on the items discussed commenting the Xfinity store front recently had a ribbon cutting ceremony. This store was located at 2480 Fairview Avenue. It was noted that the cable contract discussions continued. Mary Burg Councilmember Burg reported the EDC would be meeting again on Tuesday, November 20th at 7:30 a.m. at City Hall in the conference room. She encouraged those interested to attend. She then discussed the Community Spirit Award, which was presented to the City of New Brighton from Community Partners with Youth.
