Mr. Kessler gave an overview of the history of <br /> Granicus. IT Administrator Andre Barte led the council members in a presentation of the iPad and the ilegislate <br /> application. The council members had an opportunity to navigate through the application, asking questions as <br /> necessary. Mr. Kessler also demonstrated some of the advanced note taking features. <br /> Councilmember Jacobsen stated that he would like to see the City's advisory commissions transition to <br /> paperless packets as well. Manager Lotter suggested beginning with council packets, and adding the advisory <br /> commissions in the future. <br /> Mr. Kessler demonstrated what a council meeting will look like to the public viewing audience; showing some <br /> of the special search features. Manger Lotter suggested council consider making the transition less difficult by <br /> providing both a paper and paperless packet for a couple of meetings. <br /> The worksession adjourned at 6:30 pm. <br />
