Updates <br /> City Administrator Lotter requested the Council adopt a Resolution appointing Councilmember Paul <br /> Jacobsen to serve as the Acting Mayor in 2013. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Jacobsen,seconded by Councilmember Burg to adopt a Resolution <br /> appointing Councilmember Paul Jacobsen to serve as the Acting Mayor. <br /> 5 Ayes,0 Nays-Motion Carried <br /> Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements and Updates <br /> Dean Lotter <br /> City Manager Lotter reported neighborhood meetings would be held each Thursday in <br /> February. He noted the topics that would be discussed at these meetings, adding that there <br /> would also be a time for questions and answers with the public. <br /> Gina Bauman <br /> Councilmember Bauman stated the Planning Commission met on January 15th. She noted she <br /> attended the EDC meeting this month as well where the group discussed Pulte Homes, API and <br /> Silver View. She then discussed an updated New Brighton Exchange work plan. It was noted <br /> the EDC would meet again on February 19th at 7:30 a.m. <br /> Mary Burg <br /> Councilmember Burg thanked Councilmember Bauman for attending the EDC meeting in her <br /> absence. She discussed Colliers interest in The Exchange. She was pleased the property had <br /> so much activity and growth. <br /> Char Samuelson <br /> Councilmember Samuelson reported the Public Safety Commission would meet on Monday, <br /> January 28th at the Public Safety Building at 6:30 p.m. Adjournment <br /> The meeting adjourned <br /> Paul Jacobsen at 8:10 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Jacobsen noted the Park and Rec would be meeting on Wednesday, February <br />
