RESOLUTION NO. <br />13-002 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />UTION ACKNOWLEDGING AND ACCEPTING CHANGE FOR THE BETTER <br />ATIONS RECEIVED IN 2012 <br />5, the City of New Brighton invites and accepts donations to assist in programs and <br />and <br />EAS, one method by which citizens can make donations to the City is the "Change for the <br />program; and <br />HEREAS, participants in the "Change for the Better" program authorize the City to round the <br />count of their quarterly utility bill up to the nearest dollar or ten dollars, or add a fixed amount <br />their bill; and <br />, the contributions received from this program in 2012 are designated for <br />its and enhancements to City parks; and <br />EREAS, it is the City Council's desire to acknowledge and express appreciation to all <br />icipants for their donations; <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton to <br />approve the resolution acknowledging and accepting donations received in 2012 as <br />$1,425.11 from the participants in the "Change for the Better" program; and <br />Designate these contributions for use in improvements and enhancements to City parks. <br />this 8th day of January, 2013., r1X <br />/ <br />t.. <br />Dave cobsen, Mayor <br />a <br />iaA.
