RESOLUTION NO. <br />13-003 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON'S 2012 PAY EQUITY <br />Il"LEMENATION REPORT <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota Department of Management and Budget is statutorily <br />authorized to require Minnesota Cities to submit a Pay Equity Implementation Report every <br />three (3) years; and <br />WHEREAS, this pay equity report is required by State statutes 471.991 to 471.999 to prove <br />compliance with the State's Local Government Pay Equity Act; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has compiled and reported salaries, health benefits and job evaluation systems <br />as of December 31, 2012 as required for the Pay Equity Implementation Report; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has posted in accordance with Minnesota statutes an official notice in the City <br />Hall Break Room and at the New Brighton branch of the Ramsey County Library that the City <br />will be submitting its Pay Equity Implementation Report to the Minnesota Department of <br />Management and Budget; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has mailed via US Postal Service a copy of the official notice of the City's <br />submission of the Pay Equity Implementation Report to all union representatives in this <br />jurisdiction; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of New Brighton has complied with the <br />Statutory requirements of 471.991 to 471.999, Local Government Pay Equity Act, to complete <br />and submit its 2012 Pay Equity Implementation Report to the Department of Management and <br />Budget; and <br />BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED that the City has also complied with the notification <br />requirements of Local Government Pay Equity Act. <br />►ted this 8th day of January, 2013. <br />-� 1 \AT` � T;v Jam. <br />- a <br />DanW- A. at:ers, <br />Director of Finance and Support <br />Services/City Clerk <br />
