On October 26, 2012, staff submitted a grant application <br /> to the Metropolitan Council for Publicly Owned Infrastructure Inflow/Infiltration specifically for this <br /> project. On November 20, 2012, the City was selected for the 2012 METC Grant Program and sent a <br /> . Preliminary Minimum Allocation(PMA) notice that the City would receive a minimum of$99,331 from <br /> the grant. On December 11, 2012, the City Council authorized preparation of plans and specifications <br /> for City Project 13-6, SE Sewer Lining. On January 15, 2013 the Metropolitan Council provided two <br /> copies of the grant agreement, SG2013-021, including a funding maximum of$102,716. <br /> Financial Impact: This funding will be used to finance a portion of Project 13-6, SE Sewer Lining. <br /> Explanation: This Resolution will authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with the <br /> Metropolitan Council. Future disbursement of grant proceeds will be requested as costs are incurred <br /> with draw requisitions. The Metropolitan Council will return a signed copy of the agreement for our <br /> file. City Project 13-6, SE Sewer Lining is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2013 with completion of the <br /> project prior to June 30, 2014. <br /> Costs and Funding: The total cost of this project is proposed to be paid for from Fund 402, Capital <br /> Sanitary Sewer Fund.
