Council Business 1. Consideration of Resolution Establishing the Utility Rates and Charges for 2013. Report No. 13 -054. Resolution No. 13 -018. City Manager Lotter explained the utility rate analysis was completed on a regular basis to ensure that the City's water, sewer, stormwater and street light rates were appropriate for operations, capital maintenance and replacement He indicated the information was being presented to the public this evening by Director of Public Works Wyffels and Director of Finance Maiers. Director of finance Maiers stated the scope of the utility rate analysis was on the water, sanitary sewer, stormwater and street light enterprise funds and their respective capital project funds. He discussed the process noting a review of last year's rates were reviewed and updated as necessary hi addition, staffreviewed cunwit and firture anticipated improvement projects and updated rates where necessary ensuring projected cash balances of Capital Project Funds remain viable.
