Lotter, City Manager <br /> CITY MANAGER'S APPROVAL: <br /> No comments to supplement this report Comments attached <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Motion to waive the reading and adopt a resolution appointing volunteers to serve on the City's <br /> various advisory commissions. <br /> Legislative History: <br /> None <br /> Financial Impact: <br /> None <br /> Explanation: <br /> Pursuant to Municipal Code, the City Council annually considers appointments to its various <br /> advisory commissions. Appointments are determined after the City Council conducts interviews <br /> of newly interested volunteers and existing advisory commissioners who wish to be re- <br /> appointed. The City Council conducted interviews on March 12th and two additional applicants <br /> are slated to be interviewed at the March 26, 2013 worksession, which is conducted in advance <br /> of the Council's regular meeting. The attached Resolution includes the Council's agreed upon <br /> appointments from the March 12th interviews. Additionally, space has been left blank, where, <br /> pending Council's agreement, additional names can be added as a result of the pre-meeting <br /> interviews. Applications were received following ads placed in the local newspaper and <br /> notification to current commission members whose terms are scheduled to expire on March 31, <br /> 2 <br /> Dean R.
