Commissioner Kroll reported the Human Rights Subcommittee attended one mediation session <br /> with two parties and there have been more sessions since but the mediation is not completed. <br /> Director Jacobson suggested that since there are still mediation sessions scheduled, the <br /> commission could wait until dispute resolution is done as there is nothing else the commission <br /> can do right now. <br /> B. Allina Health <br /> Mr. Dave Matteson gave a presentation which reported the following statistics for 2012: <br /> - 1,290 total emergency responses; average response time 7:16. <br /> -624 total non-emergency responses; average response time 9:30 <br /> -86%Response Time Reliability for all calls (10:59 or less) <br /> -93%Response Time Reliability for 911 calls (10:59 or less) <br /> CA Volunteers in Public Safety (VIPS) <br /> Commissioner Woods reported the monthly VIPS meeting is tomorrow night so there is nothing <br /> new to report at this time. <br /> D Public Safety/Homeland Security Updat• <br /> Director Jacobson noted Detective Gary Sykes retired on January 31st after serving for 33 t/2 <br /> years. <br /> Director Jacobson reported a call of a 20-year old female who went into cardiac arrest. There <br /> was a great response from our department and the victim is now doing very well. We will want <br /> to present life saving awards when the family is ready. <br /> Director Jacobson reported Adam Nelson, Police Reserve and Fire Fighter, has been hired and <br /> has started his Field Training (FTO)process. Officer A. Nelson should be done with FTO and <br /> working on his own by the end of May. <br /> The National Night Out 2nd place award for 2012 was presented to Council. <br /> Fire fighters responded to a house fire on 3rd Street NW. There were 29 fire fighters who <br /> responded from our department; no other agencies had to be called to assist. <br /> Council Liaison <br /> A.
