Replacement with radio technology is recommended in 2013. The cost for
radio replacement is split evenly between the five lift stations and is included on the individual lift station
assessments. Upgrading to radio technology will save the City $2,400 in monthly telephone utility
charges.
•Control Panels—The main control panel and the five field control panels contain PLCs,circuit breakers,
and relays that are nearing the end of their useful life. Replacement of the panels and associated electrical
equipment should be coordinated with the SCADA and Communications and is recommended as a 2013
upgrade. The cost for this replacement is split evenly between the five lift stations and is included on the
individual lift station assessments.
Costs and Funding: The cost for the project will be paid from the Sanitary Sewer Capital Fund. $137,500 has
been budgeted for this project.
7. / /6)17
Grant M.
