<br />. . <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />An ordinance providing for insurance for contractor's licenses <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON ORDAINS: <br /> <br />The New Brighton City Code of Ordinances is amended as follows: <br /> <br />Section 7-35. <br /> <br />(1) A certificate of insurance shall be on file with the City before a contractor's license shall be <br />issued. The insurance shall remain in full force and effect during the term of the license and the <br />insurance shall contain a provision that the policy cannot be cancelled without 10 days written <br />notice to the City. A license shall terminate immediately in event the insurance is cancelled or <br />expIres. <br /> <br />(2) The insurance shall provide at least $300,000 for injuries per person, subject to the same limit <br />for each person, for an amount of not less than $500,000 per accident, and property damage in <br />the amount of at least $300,000 per occurrence with an annual aggregate of$500,000. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect on April 1, 2000. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of New Brighton this January 11, 2000. <br /> <br />Steve Larson, Mayor <br /> <br />Matthew S.
