Mayor Jacobsen comment . that he has not seen a great improvement in the traffic on 35W in the New Brighton since the coaliti•n's inception in 1997. Councilmember Bauman agreed with the Mayor; noting she thinks it is beneficial for Elected Officials to engage directly with Elected Officials. Mayor Jacobsen stated that he receives legislative information from Manager Lotter. The Mayor stated that he would like to form a group with neighboring cities elected officials to work together. Councilmember Jacobsen requested staff look into installing a crosswalk near the Dairy Queen on Old Highway 8. The work session adjourned at 6:30 pm.
