July 23,2013 Page 1 of 7 <br /> 014 city of <br /> �� COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> BRIGHTON <br /> the city that works for you THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday <br /> July 23, 2013 at 6:30 pm in the New Brighton Council Chambers. <br /> Present: Mayor Jacobsen, Councilmembers Samuelson, Bauman, Jacobsen and Burg <br /> Absent: <br /> Also Present: Dean Lotter-City Manager, Charlie LeFevere-City Attorney, Bob Jacobson Director <br /> of Public Safety, Grant Fernelius, Director of Community Development, and Grant <br /> Wyffels-Director of Public Works <br /> Call to Order Call to order <br /> Mayor Jacobsen called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. <br /> Public Comment Forum Eublic Comment <br /> Mayor Jacobsen opened the Public Forum for comments from the public. Forum <br /> Kristie Kellis, 715 Forestdale Road,provided the Council with a recent newsletter from Lost <br /> Boys Farm. <br /> Bob Parrott, 703 Forestdale Road, explained his entire neighborhood has been disenfranchised <br /> by the City. He commented on the two roosters living adjacent to his property stating this was <br /> a nuisance. He discussed the code violations taking place by Lost Boys Farm and how this was <br /> adversely affecting his entire neighborhood. <br /> Councilmember Burg recommended the code violations be addressed by the City. <br /> Councilmember Bauman agreed,as she wanted the nuisances to stop. <br /> Mayor Jacobsen asked if staff was addressing code violations at this property. City Manager <br /> Lotter commented Officer Hamdorf had visited the site.
