Ramsey <br /> County entered into a process including an RFP and purchasing process to obtain an integrated <br /> public safety CAD and Mobile system to be owned by Ramsey County and used by the <br /> combined Ramsey County Emergency Communications Center (ECC). New Brighton has been <br /> and will continue to be served by the ECC and supported by the CAD and Mobile system for use <br /> in our police, fire and EMS responses within New Brighton. <br /> This process began in 2012 and has included the opportunity for input and comments from all <br /> Agencies and Cities within Ramsey County. New Brighton has had a representative on the <br /> Steering Committee as well as active representation on various police and fire focused <br /> committees to review the process and choice of CAD and Mobile systems. <br /> The timetable for implementation of the new CAD/Mobile system is slated for January of 2015. <br /> ob rt .
