6.4.10.1 Planned Outages <br /> 6.4.10.1.1 Initial email contact will be made with each Member's <br /> Operational Contact as soon as possible, giving the <br /> following information: <br /> 1. Portion of the System that will be down <br /> 2. Date and time of the outage <br /> 3. Reason for the outage <br /> 4. Estimated duration of the outage <br /> 5. Effect outage will have on Members' business <br /> operations <br /> 6. End User expectations <br /> 6.4.10.1.2 Two days prior to the planned outage a reminder email <br /> notification containing the same information will be <br /> sent to the Member's Operational Contact with details <br /> for their use, and to distribute within their agencies. <br /> 6.4.10.1.3 Immediately prior to the outage, ECC will make an <br /> announcement over the radio identifying the sub- <br /> system that will be taken down and instructing System <br /> Users to log off. <br /> 6.4.10.1.4 When the planned outage/upgrade is complete an <br /> announcement will be made over the radio informing <br /> System Users the portion of the System that was down <br /> is available for use, plus a follow up email will be sent. <br /> 6.4.10.2 Unplanned Outage <br /> 6.4.10.2.1 As soon as reasonably possible a radio announcement <br /> will be made and email contact will be made with each <br /> Member's Operational Contact giving the following <br /> information: <br /> 1. Identifying the portion or portions of the <br /> system that is/are down <br /> 2. When the outage began <br /> 3. Initial cause of outage, if known <br /> 4. Estimated duration of the outage. <br /> 5. Effect outage will have on Members' business <br /> operations <br /> 6.4.10.2.2 Periodic notifications will be provided as appropriate <br /> and/or when new information is available. <br /> 6.4.10.2.3 When the unplanned outage is resolved an <br /> announcement will be made over the radio and via <br /> CAD and Mobile Data Agreement Ramsey County and User Members Page 22 of 48 <br />
