November 12, 2013 Page 4 of 4 <br />Commission Liaison Reports, Announcements and Updates Commission Liaison <br />Reports, <br />Announcements and <br />Dean Lotter Updates _ <br />City Manager Lotter reported on November 21St the Urban Task Force would be holding a <br />public hearing at City Hall at 6:30 p.m. <br />Gina Bauman <br />Councilmember Bauman noted the Public Safety Commission would meet again on Monday, <br />November 25, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Safety Center. This would be the last meeting of <br />2013. She discussed a recent event held by the Beyond the Yellow Ribbon campaign. She <br />explained the Cable Commission met in Executive Session again to discuss rates and <br />equipment fees. Formal negotiations would continue until the 10 cities involved could resolve <br />the disputes within the contract. She then thanked the residents of New Brighton for <br />supporting her in the recent election. <br />Paul Jacobsen <br />Councilmember Jacobsen thanked all Veteran's for their service to the country. He <br />congratulated Mayor Jacobsen, Councilmember Bauman and newly elected Bryan Strube for <br />their success in the recent election. He noted the EDC would meet again on November 20, <br />2013 at 7:30 a.m. <br />Char Samuelson <br />Councilmember Samuelson reported the Park Committee did not meet in November, but would <br />meet again on December 4th at the Community Center. <br />Mary Burg <br />Councilmember Burg thanked all for voting on November 5th. She explained she attended the <br />Fire and Public Safety event in October. She was pleased that the event was well attended. <br />She reported the Planning Commission would meet again on November 19th <br />Mayor Jacobsen <br />Mayor Jacobsen recognized and thanked all Veteran's for their service.
