Report No. 13-274. for the Third Quarter. Report No.13-274. City Manager Lotter reported Finance Director Maiers would be presenting this item to Council. Finance Director Maiers reviewed the interim third quarter financial statements with the Council. He discussed the General,Water,Sewer,Stormwater,Street Light and Golf Course Funds in detail. Both the expenditures and revenues were illustrated and he projected how operations would progress financially through the end of the year. He commented that each department had prepared projected year end results for 2013. Motion by Councilmember Burg,seconded by Councilmember Jacobsen to accept the Third Quarter 3013 Interim Financial Statements. 5 Ayes,0 Nays-Motion Carried Commission Liaison Commission Liaison Reports,Announcements and Updates Reports, Announcements and Updates Dean Lotter City Manager Lotter reported the Urban Farming Task Force held a public hearing and had over 60 people in attendance. The meeting was very successful and a number of valuable comments were made. He stated the Chair of the Task Force, Bruce Howard, did a wonderful job leading the meeting. He noted the Truth in Taxation Hearing would be held at 6:30 p.m. on December 3, 2013 and the final Council meeting of the year would be held on December 10, 2013. He reported a reception for Char Samuelson would be held on December 10, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. Gina Bauman Councilmember Bauman stated the Public Safety Commission met on November 25, 2013. She noted several new public safety officers would be hired. She reported Officer McNealy would be coordinating the Santa Cop program again this year. It was noted the Public Safety Commission would meet again on January 27, 2014. She wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
