"c. <br /> <br />;. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99- 102 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECT 98-8, STONY LAKE ESTATES STREET <br />AND UTILITIES. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met and heard <br />and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment ofthe improvement: <br /> <br />IMPROVEMENT: <br /> <br />Project 98-8, Stony Lake Estates Street and Utilities <br />Nine benefitted lots in Karol's Stony Lake Second Estates <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />The construction of stonn sewer, watennain, sanitary sewer repairs, <br />concrete curb and gutter, and street surfacing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The total amount to be assessed is $121,270.19. <br />2. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Ramsey County Data Processing Improvement Number <br />6770 is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the <br />improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period often (10) <br />years, the first installment to be payable on or after the first Monday in January, 2000 and shall <br />bear interest at the rate of 6.5 percent per annum from the adoption of this assessment resolution. <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to <br />the County Auditor pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the <br />date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire <br />assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time <br />thereafter, pay the County Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest <br />accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case made and provided. <br />5.
