<br />'.r' <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />" <br />-!' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-099 <br /> <br />J...i} <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNIT OF RAMSEY <br />CIIT OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PROJECTS 96-11, 98-3, AND 98-4, STREET RECONSTRUCTION. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has met and heard and passed upon all <br />.: objections to the proposed assessment of the benefited lots abutting the following streets: <br /> <br />Project 96-11 <br /> <br />5th Avenue NW <br />1st Street NW <br />County Road E2 <br />8th Avenue NW <br /> <br />Project 98-3 <br /> <br />9th Avenue SW <br />3rd Street SW <br /> <br />Project 98-4 <br /> <br />I st Street S W <br />5th Avenue SW <br />8th Avenue SW <br />8th Avenue SW <br /> <br />from 1st Street NW to County Road E2 <br />from Old Hwy 8 to 5th Avenue NW <br />from 5th Avenue NW to CUl-de-sac <br />from 1st Street NW to Dead end <br /> <br />from 3rd Street SW to Old Hwy 8 <br />from 9th Avenue SW to Old Hwy 8 <br /> <br />from Old Hwy 8 to Cul-de-sac <br />from J st Street SW to Cul-de-sac <br />from Dead end to 1st Street SW <br />from I st Street SW to Dead end <br /> <br />BY: The construction of storm sewer, watermain, sanitary sewer repairs, concrete curb and gutter, and street surfacing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota: <br />1. The total amount to be assessed is $227,522.05. <br />2. Such proposed assessment, referred to as Ramsey County Data Processing hnprovement Number 6695, is hereby accepted and <br />shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found <br />to be benefitted by the improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it <br />3. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period often (10) years, the first installment to <br />be payable on or after the first Monday in January, 2000 and shall bear interest at the rate of 6.5 percent per annum from the <br />adoption of this assessment resolution. <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor pay the <br />whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no <br />interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may, at any <br />time thereafter, pay the County Treasurer, the balance of assessments remaining unpaid with interest accrued in accordance <br />with the statutes such in case made and provided. <br />5. The Clerk shaH forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the property <br />tax list of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />~ I <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th day of October, 1999 <br /> <br />.
