RESOLUTION NO. <br />14 -005 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />LUTION ACKNOWLEDGING AND ACCEPTING CHANGE FOR THE BETTER <br />TIONS RECEIVED IN 2013 <br />6, the City of New Brighton invites and accepts donations to assist in programs and <br />; and <br />EAS, one method by which citizens can make donations to the City is the "Change for the <br />program; and <br />HEREAS, participants in the "Change for the Better" program authorize the City to round the <br />count of their quarterly utility bill up to the nearest dollar or ten dollars, or add a fixed amount <br />their bill; and <br />EREAS, the contributions received from this program in 2013 are designated for <br />rovements and enhancements to City parks; and <br />EREAS, it is the City Council's desire to acknowledge and express appreciation to all <br />icipants for their donations; <br />W THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of New Brighton to <br />-by approve the resolution acknowledging and accepting donations received in 2013 as <br />I!. $1,619.42 from the participants in the "Change for the Better" program; and <br />2. Designate these contributions for use in improvements and enhancements to City parks. <br />this 14th day of January, 2014 <br />iel A.
